An agricultural robotics manufacturer with a new machine and no buyers

The company had spent heavily on demonstration farms, placing equipment worth $200,000 to $300,000 with growers for about $15,000 a year. None of those growers bought.

Systems forecast for next year once demo farm results are shown. A forecast, not a result

What we did

  • Replaced giveaway demos with a dealer led model, where trusted local dealers bring their own customers
  • Personally contacted more than a hundred prospects
  • Ran a lunch and learn and an on farm demonstration
  • Brought in a university research partner for independent validation
  • Opened Quebec: two trips to Montreal, 4 meetings, then 10
  • Rewrote the call scripts and sales deck

What we built

  • A full company website from scratch, with product, comparison and cost of ownership pages
  • Product videos cut from real field footage
  • A new go to market plan, written from what buyers told us
  • A demo farm program designed to show measured results next season

What it does not prove. One launch is not a pattern, and the forecast depends on next season's results. What it does show: the product was never the problem. Buyers needed someone they already trusted to introduce it. Read the full story →

Service businesses built over more than twenty years, and what happened after we stepped away

It started in 2000 as a home based business and grew into two established salons in Ontario, built on marketing, customer messaging, security and systems. The clearest measure is public: the review rating.

2000
Started as a home based business
2
Established salons built on the same strategy
4.7★
Public review rating, held for years while we were involved
3.9★
The rating after the engagement ended and nobody owned it

What we did

  • Wrote the email campaigns, and trained staff on how to engage, recommend and rebook
  • Built follow up that brings clients back after the first and second visit
  • Installed cameras and security systems with our automation partner, and trained staff
  • Ran social media and asked happy clients for reviews, consistently
  • Replaced manual scheduling and records with one point of sale system

What changed

  • Far more clients came back after a second visit
  • Theft and shrinkage dropped sharply once cameras and training were in place
  • Social engagement and reviews grew steadily
  • When the work stopped, the rating fell almost a full star

Observed by the owners over the years, not formally tracked. The new point of sale system now measures these properly.
